Sirdar Luxury Soft Cotton 4ply really is as it say's luxury soft, it is a very lightly twisted yarn that is un-mercerised so is perfect fo alergy sufferers and babies. 50g ball is approx 208m which is a lot of cotton on a 50g ball. Machine wash at 40 wool wash. Uses 3.00mm hook or 3.25mm needles. If you do not like using such a lightly twisted cotton try Patons 100% cotton 4ply.
