Sirdar Luxury Soft Cotton 4ply really is as it say's luxury soft, it is a very lightly twisted yarn that is un-mercerised so is perfect fo alergy sufferers and babies. 50g ball is approx 208m which is a lot of cotton on a 50g ball.
